Permissions and krewSheet (Pivot Table)

Permission settings of kintone are also valid in pivot table. This section describes specific behaviors of configured permissions.

Permissions for App

• If you do not have the "View records" permission, an error would occur when you try to access the app.
• If you do not have the "Add records" permission, blank cells with no records in the pivot table will be read-only.
• If you do not have the "Edit records" permission, all cells are locked.
• "Delete Records" is not possible in the pivot table.
• If you do not have the "Export to file" permission, the Export button on the command bar is disabled.
  

Permissions for Record

• If you do not have the "View" permission, the records are not fetched.
  For example, the record permission is set as shown below, the records whose number is 2 or larger are not fetched.
  

• If you do not have the "Edit" permission, you can still fetch and edit the records. However, you can edit it in the Value's field, but when you click the Save button, an error appears to prevent saving.
  For example, the record permission is set as shown below, the records whose number is 2 or larger can still be edited. However, when the Save button is clicked, an error appears in the status bar to prevent saving.
  

• Record cannot be "Delete" on the pivot table.

Permissions for Field

• If you do not have "View" permission, a message will be displayed. For example, when you use a field with the following permissions,
  
  The following message "You do not have permission for Fields Updated by to view." is displayed and the pivot table is not displayed.
  

• If you do not have the "Edit" permission, the fields are locked at runtime to protect from editing.
