Show Others

When using filters, it is possible to display items that do not meet the conditions as "(Others)". This feature is useful when there are many display items and the data is difficult to read.

Setting Example

Output before setting the "Show Others" option：

Filtering (Displays the top 10 in sales, and displays 11th and below as "(Show Others)") :

Output after setting the "Show Others" option：

By default, "(Others)" appears at the end of the item. For example, "(Others)" appears on the right in a column chart and at the top in a bar chart.
「表示項目のフィルタ」で絞り込んだ項目のみを「(その他)」としてまとめて表示することができます。「集計元データのフィルタ」で除外されたレコードの項目などは「(その他)」としてまとめることはできません。
You can display only the items filtered by the "Display Items Filter" as "(Others)".
If you want to sort in custom order, you need to create a custom list. For details, refer to Create Custom Sort Order (Custom List).

Conditional Formatting

You can change the color of "(Others)" by using the conditional formatting. You can use any method of the following.

Since conditional formatting can only be set for value fields in pivot tables, the point "(Others)" cannot be specified. In this case, you can use the ISOTHER function.
